AllegedNews reporting2022+

Alleged grooming / school-district cut ties (denied)

Reporting and Wikipedia’s summary state that Broward County School District cut ties with Fishback and a debate program after allegations he groomed a 16-year-old participant while he was an adult running tournaments. He denied the allegations; coverage also notes a later adult relationship/engagement after she turned 18. These are serious allegations—not proven court convictions in the sources we list.

Context / balance

Denial and absence of a cited conviction are not the same as exoneration. Read long-form reporting and any court records if they exist; do not rely on campaign clips alone. Wikipedia is a map to sources—open the underlying articles.

Residency challenge by Collins — Fishback prevailed

Lt. Gov. Jay Collins sued to remove Fishback over Florida’s residency requirement. A judge ruled for Fishback; he remained a qualified candidate.

Context / balance

Winning the suit strengthens ballot legitimacy on that issue. Separately, Fishback used the fight to attack Collins—standard primary combat.

ReportedNews reporting2026

Contested rhetoric (race language / campaign style)

Local interviews pressed Fishback on alleged racist or inflammatory language and aggressive attacks on rivals (including unproven federal-investigation claims against Donalds). He has redirected to policy fights (property taxes, data centers) and donor critiques.

Context / balance

Tone is not a crime. Voters decide if outsider combativeness is refreshing or disqualifying. Prefer primary video over clipped outrage posts.
